Body odor or B.O for short are really big problems of some people in the world today.B.O can be a result of not proper hygiene,foods and diet,health problems,drugs,smoking,drinking and puberty.
Tips for proper hygiene.
- a person should take a bath daily to remove the bacteria in the skin and other parts of the body that prone from bacteria because it can result to body odor.
Sweating is one of the reason why people get the B.O ,the person can produce two kinds of sweat the eccrine and aprocrine.Eccrine sweat glands secrete a mixture of water,salt,urea and lactic acids into skin,this happen when your body is heated the sweats cause to out of your body especially on the area which eccrine glands are numerous. The apocrine glands is a heavier liquid containing various substance. These type of sweat glands are found mostly under the arms and around the groin.
KEEPING THE SWEATN AND UNDER ARM ODOR
- shaving your under arms can reduce the accumulation of bacteria and can reduce sweat and odor.
- Use cristal rock that made from salt potassium alum instead of deodorant.
- use apple cider vinegar because it can eliminate under arm odor.
- vinegar are also advisable to use instead of deodorant.
Coffee and other stimulants can increase the apocrine gland in the body that can result to more sweating in the body.
Smoking and drinking alcohol can increase the rate or perspiration.Health problems such as liver and kidney diseases,diabetes,yeast infection,fungal infections or gastrointestinal disorders can also lead to B.O.Fatty foods,oils or foods like onions,garlic,and other spices can also result to body odor. Fried amd baked products can cause also B.O.
Bromhidrosis - another term for bad odor
Hyperhidrosis- excessive sweating.
